What to look for

The Centrifugal Juicer
The most common juicer on the market right now is the centrifugal juicer. To use this model, you would place the fruits or vegetables down a chute into a basket with tiny teeth that spins. The teeth with grind the food into a soft texture while it spins.
Then, because it is spinning so fast the juice will be extracted from the solid food and drained out of the juicer into a cup. The leftover pieces of the fruits and vegetables end up in a pulp dispenser so they can be thrown away or used for another purpose.
The Masticating Juicer
A masticating juicer works a little bit different from both these other juicers. In this machine, food is pushed into a chute that has a slow-moving blade powered by a motor. Instead of spinning the food, it is “chewed” into mush then pushed down to release the juice.
There are plenty of masticating juicer types: you could buy a horizontal masticating juicer or a vertical model which is a little easier to feed.
The Triturating Juicer
Two gears (twin-gear), instead of one, gets you the triturating juicer. Twin-gear action rotates inward with a tiny gap for grinding and pulverizing fruits and veggies. Throughout this process, the juice is released and collected.
The gears rotate slowly so the structure of the cells is not disrupted and oxidized. Soft produce can easily be juiced in this type of device but harder vegetables like carrots can be challenging as food has to be pushed into the machine.
A variety of attachments are available for this type of juicer including pulp output controls or a pasta-making spout. You will get more juice from your produce when using a twin-gear, triturating juicer than if you use a one-gear, masticating juicer.

Cover liquids, vegetables and fruits as low temperatures absorb their nutrition. Keep the coils clean for a more efficient fridge. Use a thin layer of Vaseline as first aid on dried or cracked seals. You’ll have to eventually replace them—this will cost a lot but it will reduce the electricity consumption and increase efficiency.
To lengthen the life of the fruits, store them in the refrigerator in a low moisture drawer, but only with other fruits. The refrigerator does not make the fruit more or less ripe but simply stops the process in time. Take the peaches out the night before eating.
Picking out melons can seem like a difficult task compared to other fruits and vegetables that are easily felt for ripeness and defects. Melons bring a whole new challenge with their large size and thick skin. They also do not continue to ripen once picked, so it is important to find one that is already ripe for that sweet flavor.
